Stephanie is the owner and Executive Director of Genesis Counseling Services, LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor and Licensed Addictions Counselor who has been working as a counselor and therapist for over 17 years. She is trained, experienced, and skilled in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy, as well as certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Master Addictions Counseling. She utilizes eclectic and integrative techniques for services to each client’s individual needs. Stephanie believes in empowering and supporting clients on their journey for change and reaching whatever goals they set, as they often have more power and abilities than they realize. She specializes in addressing and treating trauma, depression and mood disorders, anxiety, couples and marriage dynamics, family issues, parenting concerns, self-worth and identity, and life transitions. She has worked with various populations and all age groups.



Rhonda M. Gambrell, MEd, LPC (Telehealth)
Rhonda is a licensed professional counselor associate with over 30 years of experience working in the field of human services. Her approach to therapy is client-centered and strength based. Rhonda is experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, stress management techniques, trauma/crisis work and psychoeducation. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma, DSS/DJJ involvement, crisis intervention, ADHD, PTSD, behavioral issues, grief and other life transition difficulties. Rhonda’s collaborative approach offers empathy and support to clients in a judgment free environment while assisting them in working through challenges so they can reach their goals.
Myra Francis, MA, LPCA (Spartanburg, Telehealth)
Myra is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with extensive experience in supporting clients through substance abuse addiction and providing comprehensive mental health services. In her role within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) setting, Myra has effectively assisted diverse populations, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including: anxiety, depression, stress, substance abuse, gambling, trauma, grief, career challenges, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. Her empathetic approach and dedication to client well-being make her a trusted and effective mental health professional.
Lacie Neugebauer, LPCA, M.S.
Lacie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She has a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Trauma and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and works with clients across all ages and life stages. Lacie approaches therapy with gentleness, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s individual story.



Alesia Lowe-Jenkins,

Alesia is a licensed professional counselor and supervisor that specializes in treating depression, anxiety, impulsive behaviors, relationship instability, family issues, behavioral/parenting concerns, trauma and life transitions. She is trained and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She has worked with various populations and all age groups in various settings, including schools, college campus, community mental health, therapeutic childcare, child advocacy centers, homeless shelters and domestic violence shelters.
Cynthia Wray, MS, LPC (Anderson, Telehealth)
Cynthia is a licensed professional counselor with 15 years of experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting. She is trained and rostered in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy, and provides a variety of psychotherapeutic services including: Therapeutic psychosocial assessment, Individual counseling for children, adolescents, and adults, Family therapy, Counseling involving treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder and behavioral disorders, anger management and family and life adjustment problems. She believes that we all have the intuitive knowledge and self-awareness to navigate through personal transitions to bring emotional balance back in our lives and empowers her clients to create healthy change.

Devon has a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Consumer Science with a minor in business. As our Director of Administration, he is committed to ensuring that clients receive a smooth and supportive experience during their care, in an environment focused on promoting overall well-being while our team addresses your clinical needs.

Emily Meigs, LPCA

Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with various experiences working in both intensive mental health facilities as well as outpatient services. She has worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, OCD, low self-esteem, poor body image, trauma, and addiction. Her dedication and empathetic approach to counseling make her a passionate and effective mental health clinician.
Mikala Adair, MA, LPC, NCC (Anderson, Telehealth)
Mikala is a licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor. Mikala has a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University. Mikala approaches therapy from an integrative theoretical perspective to meet your needs in a personalized way. In sessions, you have the freedom to talk about whatever comes to your mind and should never feel you have to censor yourself. Mikala emphasizes self-awareness, builds insight and will help you become aware of unconscious processes and patterns you may be experiencing. She can help with learning to set boundaries, coping skills, changing thoughts, or facing fears in a safe way. Mikala has training and experience with LGBTQIA+ populations, life transitions, adults, young adults, adolescents, and trauma.

Avery is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in good standing with clinical practice ranges from late adolescents to adults. She has a special interest in identity development, athletics, academic distress, anxiety, depression, and personal adjustment. She takes an inviting, reflective approach to people’s problems, and her approach is derived from Person Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy.
Berdina Hill, LPCA

Berdina is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience working with various educational, community, and state settings, bringing a well-rounded view to support individuals in need. Berdina empathetically addresses a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and low self-esteem to empower individuals to find clarity, build resilience and confidence in all aspects of their lives. She has over 12 years experience in career counseling and has a certification as a Career Development Facilitator, specializing in supporting clients through career transitions and professional development. She utilizes an eclectic approach to her work, drawing from cognitive behavioral, client-centered and solution focused therapy techniques to support individuals in achieving their goals.

Jada Byrd is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is dedicated to supporting the emotional and relational well-being of children, adolescents, couples and families. Jada has experience working with young clients in both educational and clinical settings. Her areas of focus include behavioral issues, identity development, self-esteem challenges, and adjustment to life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and family. Jada utilizes evidence-based practices and draws from her training in systemic and relational therapy models to help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve self-awareness, and strengthen interpersonal connections.



Thomas Rodger, LPC, NCC, CPCS

Thomas is a licensed professional counselor with over 19 years of experience working as a therapist. He has worked with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan from ages 3 years old and up with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, panic disorders, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD. He has also assisted many people who have experienced physical trauma, emotional abuse, anger management, and self-esteem issues. His counseling style is warm and interactive. He believes in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and he does not believe in stigmatizing labels. His approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, person centered, and humanistic approaches. He will tailor the dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Caroline is a graduate-level intern pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology with a concentration in Children’s Advocacy. She is interested in working with adolescents and adults, using an integrated Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral approach to support clients through life’s challenges. Her counseling style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, and she is passionate about building strong relationships and creating a safe, inclusive space where clients can grow and heal.
Shalala Beaty, MA, LPC-A

Helping clients find hope, healing, and balance through connection and understanding, Shalala is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths. Her approach is client-centered and compassionate, creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported. While she primarily uses an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, she draws from various techniques to meet each person’s unique needs.
